CSM are bad !

I saw so much hate toward CSM codex 6th maybe is by nostalgia, but is still a strong codex almost all in the codex is playable. I personally try to find a way to use all units in the game. I am use to play 3k with my friends each weekend. Each time with a different list or combination. I often use Chaos Daemon as ally, I tried monogod list and a lot of undivided one I have like 15k Pts Black Legion and i can say all can do the job at 3k games.


 I like to play 3k game because you are a bit less screw up by spamming list because you can have a little bit of all at 3k you will have melta and you will have plasma and lose an unit  by bad luck will not be a instant lose.

Yeah some units are arguably playable because you will have something's better. Living in the shadow of the helldrake is not a easy thing ;p.

But to be honest I need to say I had some trouble to see a good use of certain units like mutilator or warp Talons and I try to like the demon prince ( I often prefer invest on a lord of change)

put Huron with cultist giving them fearless camping objective and clean my zone, rush with sorcerer in spawn squad Rolling in biomancy and hope got endurance and iron arms.

 

protect flank with hellbrute or fear assault tank with my multimelta (is will also serve to instant death T5)

 

protect/assault other flank with mauleurfiend

 

push with bike on flank and take middle with 2 marine squad and infiltrate one with warlord trait.

 

deepstrike terminator behind the line shooting MC of 10AV in rear

 

use Helldrake in deep battle killing heavy team on vector strike Plane or SA soft skin.

 

target armored with predator mauler

 

target soft skin MC and flying with Havoc

Con am use to play 5 scoring at 3k
